皆さんご存知の通り、2022年9月はウルティマ オンラインの25周年にあたります。 多くの方から、この節目を祝うためのパーティを計画しているのかという質問をメールでいただきました。 私たちは2022年のCOVID-19の状況をモニターし、来年の前半にこの件について決定する予定です。

Greetings Everyone,
Its that time of year again when Britannians ask themselves will I get something nice or will I get coal in my stocking? The UO Team wishes everyone a happy holiday and a happy new year!
We have several events going on this month so make sure you get involved! The Artisan Festival is going now for all our crafters with great collectibles. Krampus is once again terrorizing trade routes with a chance at new rewards and holiday gifts are available from The Busy Bee & Colored Canvass shops in Vesper. Due to the fact that one of the team members always gets so cold we added a little something warming to the snowman tapestry, if by chance you get one of these think of Bleak when you look at it!
As everyone knows September 2022 will mark the 25th anniversary of Ultima Online. Many of you have emailed me asking if we are going to plan a party to celebrate this milestone. We will monitor the situation with COVID-19 in 2022 and will be making a call on this during the first part of next year.
2022 is going to be an exciting time for UO with not only continued events on Ultima Online: Live but also the launch of Ultima Online: New Legacy. We look forward to sharing this journey with you as we forge into 25 years of the most amazing community in gaming! Will you be re-introducing the Demon Belt?
Yes – we plan to release these in Publish 112 coming February 2022!
Can you offer us a way to re-add our pet costumes after our pet dies?
Yes – with Publish 112 we are going to offer the ability to re-apply a pet costume to a pet when it has died in the field.
Will you be re-introducing the Candied Staves?
We had to remove these items from Publish 111 to keep on schedule but look for them next holiday season!
Will there be Vet Rewards in 2022?
Yes! Look forward to new veteran rewards coming in Publish 112!
Content Designer Wanted
Overview
We are seeking a talented Content Designer to join the Broadsword Ultima Online Team. Content Designers are responsible for designing, writing, implementing, documenting, providing feedback, and maintaining content for Ultima Online. This is a remote position. Please send all resume’s to Bonnie Armstrong at Mesanna@broadsword.com. The cut off for accepting resume’s will be December 31st.
Responsibilities
- Design & implement content that provides engaging narrative using content generation tools
- Design & implement quests using quest building tools to customize characters, dialogue, world locations, and reward items.
- Write character interaction dialogue, in-game lore books, and quest-item descriptions.
- Collaborate with art, engineering, design, quality assurance, and production to deliver a polished final product
- Playtest content and provide constructive feedback to iterate and improve each release
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Ultima Online including lore, gameplay mechanics, and reward schemes
- Exceptional storytelling, dialogue, and editing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to established fictional heritage
- Familiarity with open world multiplayer RPGs
- Technical aptitude and ability to implement content autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidate must supply a portfolio that shows examples of work, including a content sample that focuses on fictional basis, delivery, dialogue, mechanics, and reward
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating or updating mods for roleplaying games
- Scripting experience using programming languages
- Debugging experience in a programming environment
- Familiarity with good programming practices and data structures
- Familiarity with LINUX environments

If a secret word is saved on the desired account(s), we will be happy to provide the secret word hint(s).
Accounts that have been closed within the last year require the secret word and 2 pieces of information.
Accounts that have been closed for more than a year require only the secret word, if a secret word is not set then 3 pieces of information are required.
Information used for verification are as follows:
- Account name
- First and last name
- Date of birth
- Phone number
- Key codes
- Payment information (CC)
- Date account was open/closed
- State/country

PASSWORD ISSUES
To reset your password you must first understand which type of account you are resetting the password for.
EA Accounts, Mythic Master Accounts, and Mythic Product / Game Accounts all have separate individual passwords. All of which you can reset at our Account Center at https://accounts.eamythic.com/.

TERMINATED ACCOUNTS
If you have an account that was terminated by CS over a year ago and would like to have it back, please contact the Dispute Team from the email associated with the account at dispute@ultimaonline.com for further investigation and a possible one-time reprieve.

EA ORIGIN – ORDERS, CODES, AND THIRD PARTY RESELLERS
Sovereigns Coin Codes purchased from EA Origin have to be redeemed on the Account Center; you cannot enter these in game.
Sovereign Coin Codes that have been redeemed are bound to the EA Account they were redeemed on and are only usable by the accounts linked with that EA Account; Sovereign Coin currency may not be transferred.
If you are having issues with your EA Origin purchase, follow this link to resolve the issue.
CODE PURCHASE DELAY
You may have noticed that Origin Store purchases made did not arrived as expected. The Origin Store enacts reviews on all transactions to safeguard against fraudulent purchases, and these reviews may take up to 72 hours. Unfortunately our Billing department is not able to expedite or circumvent this process. However, players who have questions or concerns regarding a store purchase can contact Origin Support for assistance using the below steps:

2) Select topic* – select Orders
3) Select issue*
4) Click on “Select contact option“
5) Sign in with your EA Account or click on “Get help from an advisor without logging in.” if you’re having trouble signing in.
THIRD PARTY RESELLERS
We would also like to reiterate that the Origin store is the only guaranteed provider of codes for Ultima Online. The validity of a code purchased from a third-party seller (be it a friend, in-game acquaintance, or recommended site) cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, any codes we find to have be fraudulently obtained will be disabled and an account that applies any of these codes will have that code removed from said account. This can result in the loss of game time, character slots, expansion access, Sovereigns (and the items purchased with them), in-game items and more. Please be advised that we cannot assist with any issues stemming from codes purchased via non-Origin means; you will be required to contact the vendor from which you purchased the code for further assistance.
