こんにちは
年の瀬が近づく中、チームが年末の短い休暇に入る前に、皆さまへひと言お伝えしたいと思います。
2025年は、ブリタニア全土で冒険・創造性・協力によって彩られた一年でした。ライブイベントへの参加、希少な報酬の探索、戦闘での腕試し、そして新旧の仲間たちとの時間──どのような形であれ、皆さまが関わってくださったことで、Ultima Online は今年も活気に満ちた世界であり続けました。本当にありがとうございます。
Ultima Online が続いていくのは、コミュニティの存在あってこそです。皆さまが紡ぐ物語、寄せられるフィードバック、そして世界に注がれる情熱が、今もブリタニアを形作り続けています。
振り返って
今年は、生活の質を高める改善や継続的なバグ修正、そして裏側での重要な基盤整備など、多くの分野で大きな前進がありました。各パブリッシュでは、ドラゴンの侵攻を阻止したり、強大な爬虫類の獣を調教したり、馴染みある土地に新たな発見をもたらしたりと、ブリタニア各地で新しい冒険が生まれました。
プレイヤー主催のイベントやロールプレイ、そして無数の家々や店舗、集会所など──コミュニティの創造性には常に刺激を受けています。ソーサリアが本当に生きている世界だと感じさせてくれるものばかりです。
これからに向けて
2026年に向けて、チームは次の展開に向けた作業を続けています。私たちの目標は、Ultima Online のNew Legacyを尊重しつつ、皆さまが投じてきた時間にふさわしい、魅力的で報われる体験を提供し続けることです。ゲーム世界の一貫性と、Ultima Online というビジョンを守る姿勢は変わりません。
現在、戦闘、ハウジング、そして New Legacy の進化など、いくつかの重要分野で作業が進行中です。さらに、新たな冒険、新たな報酬、そしてコミュニティが共に楽しめる新たな瞬間も準備しています。そして地平線の先には、驚くべき節目──Ultima Online 30周年が待っています。この記念すべき年は、未来のブリタニアを描く上で、すでに私たちの大きな指針となっています。

With the year drawing to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share a few words before the team steps away for a brief end-of-year break.
2025 has been a year shaped by adventure, creativity, and collaboration throughout Britannia. Whether you joined us for live events, hunted rare rewards, tested your skill in battle, or simply spent time with friends old and new, you helped keep Ultima Online vibrant and alive. For that, we say thank you!
Ultima Online endures because of its community. The stories you tell, the feedback you share, and the passion you bring to the world continue to shape Britannia.
Looking Back
This past year brought meaningful progress across many areas of the game, from quality-of-life improvements and continued bug fixes to important foundational work behind the scenes. Each publish introduced new adventures across Britannia — whether thwarting a draconic invasion, taming a formidable reptilian beast, or discovering fresh reasons to explore familiar lands.
We have been continually inspired by the creativity of the community, from player-run events and roleplay to the countless homes, shops, and gathering places that make Sosaria feel truly alive.
Looking Ahead
As we turn our focus toward 2026, the team remains hard at work shaping what comes next. Our goals continue to honor the legacy of Ultima Online while delivering experiences that feel engaging, rewarding, and worthy of the world you’ve invested so much in. We remain committed to preserving the integrity of the game world and the vision that is Ultima Online.
Work is ongoing across several key areas, including combat, housing, and the continued evolution of New Legacy, alongside new adventures, new rewards, and new moments for the community to share together. Just beyond the horizon, an incredible milestone awaits — 30 years of Ultima Online. This monumental anniversary is already on our minds as we chart Britannia’s course for the future.
